Since December 2015, Paris has a brand new youth hostel. And it’s not just any hostel–––the three entrepreneurs behind Les Piaules have created a hip, well designed youth hostel that even has a rooftop space!
Even if our dear capital city is filled with all kinds of lodging options, it’s not always easy to find a place that’s ideally located, trendy, designer and reasonably priced.
But this is about to change, because Les Piaules just came to town.
Located in 11th arrondissement of the city since December 2015, this new-generation youth hostel is likely gain a strong following.
Behind the concept are Matthieu, Damien and Louis, three childhood friends who spent over 300 nights in youth hostels around the world, finally deciding take on the challenge of opening one of their own.
Emphasizing the French savoir-faire for foreign tourists, Les Piaules offers quality lodging with decor by Kristian Gavoille, a rooftop space with a view of the city and a bar with a selection of French products.
Located in an art-deco era building in the Belleville neighborhood, Les Piaules features 162 beds in both dorm-style and double bedrooms, as well as 4 bedrooms on the rooftop.
The hostel is also unveiling the “Plumard,” their signature bunkbed designed to avoid all of the small inconveniences that young travelers often face.
And the hostel’s bar is open to everyone!
They also offer completely original amenities, like classes on the art of flirting in French, or discovering the real Paris with exclusive addresses.
