Among the original restaurants, here's one of the most interesting! The Touch'In Paris quite recently opened its doors: it is a restaurant & bar with tactile and interactive tables. In the digital age where everyone craves and lives for touch pads, the Touch'In Paris may well become a key spot.
Designed initially by three childhood friends, Frédéric Pinto formerly in command of the Soubise bar in Saint-Germain, Roman Marin, former business developer and Jeremy Vuillaume, who first thought of the concept, a graduate of the Graduate School of French cuisine (Ecole supérieure de cuisine française) and once worked with Franck Reynaud, Michelin-starred in Switzerland.
The Touch'In Paris combines innovation with minimalist design and a warm atmosphere: in short, tradition meets modernity. Located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, near the Madeleine church, the restaurant has two dining rooms for a total of 80 seats and opens between 11:00 a.m and 2:00 a.m.
In the kitchen, imagination and creativity are the key words. The three friends wanted to offer dishes with the same innovative spirit as the rest of the place. With specialties brought up to date and a very "bistronomy" style with a rock and roll twist, Touch'In Paris will surprise you... and your taste buds, all with quality products. The "savoir-faire" (know-how) is another key to Touch'In Paris's growing success. The kitchen will be the kingdom of chef Olivier Pariaud, trained by Guy Savoy, for a little while. He agreed to leave the "Resto du Roy", in Versailles for a few months, in order to train the Touch'In team.
At lunchtime, the Touch'In Paris restaurant offers several menus: for 20 € or 25 €. During the lunch hours, only the restaurant part is open, but as of 18h (6 p.m), you will be able to enjoy a cocktail and the bar's "touch tables".
Speaking of the bar, you are in for an unforgettable experience. You can choose from as many as 18 signature cocktails, made by Bar Spoon. Ready to order? It's just a click of your fingertips away. Thanks to these tables, you will be able to order your drink, read the menu, send e-cards to your Facebook profile, find a place to party, call a waiter or even order a cab.
Basically, a must try! Our guess is, you won't regret it!
