The Sherwood Park is the place where you will experience the adventure of your life (at least of your childhood). More than just a tree climbing park, the Sherwood is a multi-activity park! You will get to try out different courses up in the trees, for all ages, a giant inflatable playground, pony rides, and even Laser ball!

There are a bunch of new and fun things to do at the the Sherwood Park this year! Be sure to check out the following:

  • 5 New "Accrobranche" Ropes Courses
For a new and thrilling experience in nature, the Sherwood park is adding five new courses to “accrobranche” course, a european-style high-ropes course. So now there are 32 courses, for different ages and levels. In total, there are 330 different workshops and activities in the trees, from 3 feet to 63 feet high, with over 3000 feet of zipline. If you’re a fan of wild rides, their 850ft zipline is the longest zipline in the region!
  • 3 New Out of the Ordinary Activities
There are a number of completely original activities at the Sherwood Park, like a huge ball pit for kids, the Quick Jump and the Bungy Ejection. For the 2016 season, 3 new activities will dazzle visitors:
    • The Giant Maze: With over two acres of obstacle courses and two more acres of maze, you won’t want to miss out on this giant maze in the middle of the forest.
    • Robin’s Jump: Take a step back in time to the Middle Ages with this new attraction. In those times, guards in royal towers were sometimes pushed over the edge by their enemies when they were under attack. Now you can experience the fall, without the risk! Jump either 20, 25 or 40 feet onto an air mattress, a free fall with a rush of adrenaline, guaranteed.
    • Shooting the Arbalest: An arbalest is a medieval crossbow that was at the time rare and not used by knights. In fact the easy-to-use arbalest made it possible for even untrained people to attack at a distance. Sherwood Parc is offering introduction classes taught by a knight. If you feel like something more classic, head to the crossbow area
  • 2 New Ways to Talk a Walk:
Sherwood Park is getting on horseback in the Oise and Val d’Oise regions. Enjoy beautiful and historic monuments from a new vantage point, like on the back of a pony! For the 2016 season, there are two new rides you can choose from:
    • Horse and Carriage Ride: Your professional coachman will take you around in a horse-drawn carriage, to discover the Abbaye de Royaumont, the Reine Blanche’s Castle, the ponds at Commelle and the Chantilly castle. You can take a two hour tour, or even for a whole day with a break for a picnic.
    • Quad: This new speedy tour is both thrilling and safe! Take Kymco quads for a ride around the beautiful site.

Don’t forget all of the other wonderful things you can find at Sherwood Park:

  • 270 workshops in the trees accessible to all levels, from beginner to athlete.

  • Interactive stations throughout the courses will allow you to compete for the giant quizz, on the themes of the legend of Robin Hood and the protection of nature.

  • For children ages 6+, the off-ground children's course is a series of 20 workshops in the trees, with no special equipment needed. Despite not being very far off the ground, this course is just as thrilling for kids as for the parents on the high ropes.

  • 3 obstacle courses with "edu-tainment" puzzles, on the ground, for all ages.

  • An area with giant inflatable games (ages will vary).

  • Pony rides for the little ones (ages 3 and up), with the with parents to accompany the little ones.

  • A Paint Ball area: 5 outdoor paintball grounds, fully equipped (over 12 acres) where you can give it all you've got! Reservation required... get ready to have a blast!

  • A Laser Ball area: enjoy the 12 acres of forest, perfect for Laser Ball quests (outdoor Laser Game). The instructors will suggest different game scenarios, each one more fun than the next.

  • Lady Marianne's tavern where you will be able to eat delicious food on the go.

  • Special events and attractions in scheduled throughout the year.

Well, you get the point, Sherwood Park is an awesome place to go for a day of fun in nature, be it with the kids or with friends!
