Whilst some of you will stroll around the Grande Halle de La Villette aisles, some will likely be moshing or at least dancing around in front of the ephemeral stage set for several concerts.
Because Le Mondial du Tatouage 2017 will respect the rule and offer several lives on Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March likely to shake the Grande Halle up.
Planned on Friday March 3, for the first time, the event will receive the legendary Hard Core New York band: Madball. They will make the best of it and play tracks from their latest album called “Hardcore Lives” and will show you they still have the same rage and rebelliousness as before.
On the same night, the French hardcore metal band, L’Esprit du Clan, will be back after a break started in 2011. The experience and the freshness hitting their marks, their new opus “Chapitre 6” includes the best of the band.
On Saturday March 4, the Grande Halle de La Villette will invite the current electro sensation: Carpenter Brut. After a sold-out gig at the Cigale and a concert planned at the Olympia in 2018, Carpenter Brut takes its influences from TV shows of the 80’s and B movies full of synthesizers.
On March 4, you can also attend “Reflections”. This musical project features Takami Nakamoto’s machines and Sebastien Benoits’s drums. Created in 2015 after an order from Mutek Festival, they played in Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Canada, Slovenia…
Finally on March 5, do not miss Theo Lawrence & The Hearts. The band plays a soulful and direct music combining R’n’B’s emotional honesty, Country Music’s storytelling and Rock & Roll’s primitive force. After a first 45 rpm and a very successful concert at the Printemps de Bourges 2016, their EP Sticky Icky out in November 2016 is likely to please many ears!
