On the occasion of the 37th edition of European Heritage Days on September 19 and 20, 2020, the Hôtel des Invalides housing the Musée de l’Armée in Paris organizes visits, concerts and other workshops. A unique experience to live out with your family to celebrate the 350th anniversary of this cultural and military institution in Paris!
An event celebrated with great pomp, and two days furing which visitors will discover all "Louis's XIV work", as well as what happens backstage with many rooms usually closed, such as several private lounges, former refectories, and even renovation workshops. History fans will enjoy the moment to discover several areas of the Invalides that are usually closed to visitors, such as private lounges, former refectories, and other renovation workshops. Guided tours to know everything about the story of the place.
Completely interactive, the monument is subject to guided tours on European Heritage Days. Discover the how and why the décor of this special monument has been created, why choosing such a scenography, how medias are selected and presented to the public. The visit will also be the occasion to highlight some historical events presented in these areas. Duration: 40 minutes. Access conditions: free tour by registration within limited number of places.
