Centre Pompidou square will accommodate an art installation for FIAC 2017 (International Art Fair). Created by Atelier Van Lieshout, the work’s called “Domestikator”…

You think that FIAC admission fees are way too expensive? Be rest-assured, even if you are on a budget you can follow a large trail of contemporary art in Paris and for free since 70 works have been selected to be displayed in public spaces.

Among them, Domestikator by Atelier Van Lieshout – founded by sculptor Joep Van Lieshout – is installed in the front of the Centre Pompidou.

Represented by the Carpenters Workshop Gallery – where he’s currently exhibited – the artist explains: “Domestikator has always aimed at being a thought and opinion catalyst since it questions how men use technology – with ingenuity, creativity, sophistication and persistence – to change the world and make it ‘better’ but by often controlling it in the process”.

From Tuesday October 17, come and discover this machine of which the goal is to give visitors food for thoughts about controlling the world that leads to unreasonable behaviors regarding environmental conversation.

Environmentalists and other bold contemporary arts enthusiasts will love it!
