Who doesn’t know the Atelier des Lumières? Open this past April 13, 2018, it’s the first digital art center in the capital. While the Atelier des Lumières is currently housing several immersive exhibitions such as Klimt, the place offers exclusively at nighttime, from October 19 to November 4, 2018, a new and unique digital experience!
Terra Magnifica, an original creation by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, offers visitors a fantastic journey in time and space. Made from incredible pictures filmed across the world, mostly coming from the movie Earth From Above, produced in 2004 by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, this creation is sure to blow you away during Fall break.
From the sky, the visitor flies over magnificent landscapes that, as seen through Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s lens, become unique art compositions. Pictures show the tracks left by Men on the Earth and visible in the landscape. We especially fly over the magnificent Yellowstone park in the USA, Iceland and even the Mongolian steppes… But Terra Magnifica mostly shows men as incredible builders.
Terra Magnifica is the occasion to experience a total immersion in the world’s most beautiful landscapes, from the beginnings of the earth to our contemporary era.
Every evening ends up with pictures from Woman, Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Anastasia Mikova’s upcoming movie said to be out in September 2019.
Please note that these 16 sessions will profit GoodPlanet Foundation supporting solidarity projects across the world.
