On Saturday April 4, 2020 let's meet at the Louvre for a unique and free night open to all. A monthly night at the museum during which you can visit the musuem, observe masterpieces and experience uncommon activities accessible by booking

Caution! The Louvre still limits its access to prevent coronavirus from spreading. The late-night opening could be cancelled at the last minute for everyone's safety. Stay tuned, we'll let you know baout the possible evolution of this free outing.

During these free late-night openings, you can access for free to a large part of the Louvre: let's see the Louvre masterpieces such as Veronese Marriage at Cana, Winged Victory of Samothrace, Venus de Milo, Liberty leading the people by Delacroix, The Raft of the Medusa by Géricault and Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci...

For even more free entertainments - but limited - in the Richelieu wing don't forget to book your tickets! Dance shows, guided tours, concerts, free workshops for children and adults, a reading nook and a game board area, the program changes every month .

In addition to these entertainments, the lucky visitors can enjoy the Cour Pujet, Dutch painters, French sculptures, all set in the Richelieu wing.

With this event, the Louvre wants to make Ile de France inhabitants, young people and families come back. Free evenings are on a roll in Parisian museums: The Musée d’Orsay, the Musée du Quai Branly and the Louvre, the greatest museums throw themselves into organizing festive events where the museum offers something else than slowly visiting the museum in endless queues just to catch sight of a work for a few seconds!

If you don't book prior to your visit, you are likely to wait for quite a while, but it's okay since the Louvre is so beautiful by night that it's a go-to every first Saturday of the month!
