Presented for the first time in 2019, l'Atelier des Lumières takes us into the world of Van Gogh, in an immersive exhibition that ends this October 18, 2023. Take a stroll through Van Gogh's most beautiful paintings, rediscovering the misunderstood genius of his time.

Vincent Van Gogh, la nuit étoilée: the exhibition-show at the Atelier des Lumières returns this summer, for an exceptional, must-see retrospective. If you missed this immersive exhibition, or if you're a fan of Van Gogh, don't miss this sound and light show, on view until October 18, 2023. Every afternoon from 3 p.m., the Atelier des Lumières transports us into the Impressionist world of Vincent Van Gogh. Note that Chagall remains available every day until 3pm.

The exhibition is followed by a short program dedicated to Yves Klein: l'Infini bleu. This exhibition was first presented in 2020, to complement the Monet, Renoir... Chagall. Journey to the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, this program was cut short due to the pandemic, so we're delighted to (re)discover it!

A journey to the heart of his work, we rediscover the different stages of the artist's life, focusing on his stays in Arles, Paris and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

In groups, we travel to the heart of the works, and let ourselves be carried away to sunny fields and cities immortalized at night: Les Mangeurs de pommes de terre (1885), Les Tournesols (1888), La Nuit étoilée (1889) and La Chambre à coucher (1889) will hold no more secrets for us.

In the vast space of theAtelier des Lumières, we discover a selection of Van Gogh's most famous paintings, projected in their entirety! A room of infinite mirrors also plunges us into the master's work.

To accompany the show, the Danny Rose Studio also presents the works and settings from Japan that so fascinated Van Gogh. FromHokusai 's iconic Wave to cherry blossoms, we're immersed in the Japan of Van Gogh's dreams.

Between mythology, art, history and legends, the exhibition, or rather the sound and light show of this dreamed Japan, really won us over. We begin by finding ourselves in a magical forest where fantastic beings appear and disappear.

We're transported to a tumultuous ocean, where waves propel us through the entire enclosure. Then we find ourselves in the very heart of the ocean, surrounded by gigantic marine life. Samurai and Geishas are also present. Like the famous lanterns that multiply and fly away at the end of the projection - magical!

An incredible immersive experience for all ages, a must-see!
