The Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN) offers a free admission in a monument to all visitors this Wednesday December 19, 2018 to discover another monument of the network before January 31, 2019! This unique initiative is a Christmas present from the CMN that – for the first time in 2018 – reached 10,00,000 visitors in the 100 national monuments it runs.
So, in Paris, let’s (re)visit the Sainte-Chapelle, thee Panthéon, the Arc de triomphe, the Tours de la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris (75), the Château de Champs-sur-Marne (77), the Château de Rambouillet (78) and even the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud (92)...
At the end, we leave with a pass valid for an entrance to the monuments managed by the CMN (to be used before January 31, 2019), so available for Parisian monuments, as well as for the Mont Saint-Michel, the Carcassonne castle and in the 100 national monuments of the network (perfect for the Christmas break)!
With this action the Centre des Monuments Nationaux wishes to thank visitors and invites us to keep on heritage visit all over France. Careful through, each monument has a stock of passes matching the estimated number of visitors this Wednesday December 19 and it may happen that there are not enough passes especially for the last visitors!
And if you’re not available on Wednesday December 19, 2018, the CMN also sets up an online paper chase “Trouvez le #MonumentMystère” [Find the #MysteryMonument] (on the Centre des Monuments Nationaux website) with a prize: a year of visit of monuments for 2, Editions du Patrimoine books and even gifts from CMN stores.
