Christian Louboutin: the exhibition at Paris Palais de la Porte Dorée in 2020

From February 25 to July 28, 2020, Christian Louboutin displays his creations and inspirations for an exhibition running at Paris Palais de la Porte Dorée.

The story between Christian Louboutin and the Palais de la Porte Dorée isn’t new. Born in Paris 12th arrondissement, not far from the Palais de la Porte Dorée, Christian Louboutin is passionate by the beauty of the place and its collections as early as a teenager.

It’s at the Palais de la Porte Dorée that Christian Louboutin draws his inspiration for the shapes and patterns of his first creations, like the Maquereau shoe made of metallic leather as a tribute to the fish scale from the Aquarium Tropical or the Pigalle shoe.

It’s not a surprise to learn that from February 25 to July 28, 2020 will be held, at the Palais de la Porte Dorée, an exhibition devoted to Christian Louboutin in which the latter will reveal his imaginary and his inspirations!

Dive into the universe of the most famous shoemaker and discover the different aspects of his universe fed with travels, pop culture, dance, literature and cinema.

A large selection of shoes will be presented alongside many collaborations and unique projects with artists such as David Lynch, Lisa Reihana, Whitaker Malem, Blanca Li or even Imran Qureshi.

But you’ll have to wait for a few more months before discovering the exhibition!
