To celebrate the 130th anniversary of the Eiffel Tower, a free and interactive exhibition will be held on the Eiffel Tower parvis from September 28 to November 24, 2019. The occasion to discover the Eiffel Tower in a new light, completely immersed.

This year, the Eiffel Tower turns 130 years old. From late September to late November 2019, a free exhibition about returning on its construction will be held on the Eiffel Tower parvis. The occasion to learn more about the Iron Lady in a playful and instructive way!

Set under a 300-sqm dome, this exhibition open to all will offer unique and modern experiences including numerous videos screened on latest-generation screens. For instance, carefully walking on screens set on the ground, recreating the beams, visitors will have the feeling of walking above the ground and will put on the shoes of the workers on this spectacular worksite!

Visitors can also experience the wind resistance of the monument by blowing on monitors. The most creative ones can pretend to be painters for the Eiffel Tower thanks to the “virtual graffiti” technique. The immersion will be total since sound atmospheres have been created to feel like we are at the World’ Fair 1889.

Why is this tower shaped like so? Why was wrought iron used? What successive colors? How has the Tower been built so quickly? And what if you put on the shoes of a worker on the Eiffel Tower? As many questions to which this immersive retrospective brings answers!

In other words, a free and very interactive exhibition we’re looking forward to visiting!
