The Musée Rodin invites art lovers to discover an exhibition revolving around the works of sculptor Barbara Hepworth from November 5, 2019 to March 22, 2020. A dive into the artist's career not to be missed!

An opportunity to discover a major figure in twentieth-century British sculpture... The Rodin Museum, in collaboration with London's Tate, invites all art and sculpture lovers to come and discover its latest exhibition focusing on the work of sculptor Barbara Hepworth from November 5, 2019 to March 22, 2020. Little known in France, this renowned artist worked alongside Henry Moore, Picasso, Calder, Mirò and Mondrian.

A true figure of modern art, she revolutionized sculpture and"gave rise to a new aesthetic sensibility". His abstract works,"as pure as they are poetic", attempt to reveal to the curious"an ideal, peaceful world". Through this exhibition, the Musée Rodin offers an overview of his career and work, as well as"an insight into his working methods".

The exhibition is accompanied by photographs from the artist's family. The many letters and newspaper clippings provide a more intimate insight into the sculptor's life. The small workshop that houses her tools almost gives us the impression that Barbara Hepworth is about to enter the room and present us with a new work.

An opportunity to discover a woman on the bangs of her time, but also a pioneering artist in her field! It's worth noting that the Musée Rodin had already welcomed the artist for an exhibition during her lifetime, 60 years ago. A new opportunity for the museum to reintroduce this sculptor to Parisians, as well as"the quintessence of her striking, poetic universe". Shall we go to the Rodin Museum, folks?

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
