Coronavirus: the Atelier des Lumières reopens

Paris Atelier des Lumières reopens from May 26, 2020. The first digital art center is back with immersive exhibitions and new health instructions.

After two months of lockdownParis is starting again and beautiful places are opening little by little. Among the hottest art spot, the Atelier des Lumières, the first digital art center in Paris amazing viistors with immersive exhibitions. They have announced their return and welcome people again, starting Tuesday May 26, 2020.

You can once again enjoy the “Monet, Renoir, Chagall… Journeys around the Mediterranean” or the “Yves Klein, Infinite Blue” exhibitions. Viistors will see works come to life and invade the whole place, ceiling and floors, and walls of this ancient smelting plant to the music.

The Atelier des Lumières presents the visual experience Monet, Renoir, Chagall, Journeys in the Mediterranean. Conceived as an immersive experience, this exhibition takes us to the heart of the masterpieces of 20 artists including Renoir, Monet, Pissarro, Matisse, Signac, Derain, Vlaminck, Dufy, Chagall, for a journey through the history of art of the 19th and 20th centuries, from impressionism to modernity, through pointillism and fauvism. But since the coronavirus epidemic is still ongoing, the Atelier des Lumières presents new visit modalities to fit to the health instructionsMandatory booking is limited to a time slot, masks are compulsory within the center, body temperature will be checked at the entrance, hand sanitizer will be available and a 1-meter distance must be kept between visitors. The Atelier des Lumières also announces that groups are not allowed.

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
