After several months of closure due to the coronavirus, theArab World Institute finally reopens its doors to visitors and other art and history lovers on July 1, 2020. A reopening more than expected that offers you visits of the permanent collections of the museum, but also the possibility to discover its bookshop famous in all Europe or to discover its breathtaking view on Paris from the panoramic terrace.

Good plan alert: every weekend in July and August, the IMA offers free guided tours of its museum! Book a tour and discover the museum's collections with a tour guide. The tours take place between 3 and 5 pm and allow you to learn everything you ever wanted to know about the works on display or about Arab culture.

As for sanitary measures, everything is also planned to ensure your safety: online reservation (even for free access), mandatory wearing of masks from 11 years old, social distancing, marking on the ground, hydroalcoholic gel... A good time and culture with family or friends, without risk. Note, however, that access to the panoramic terrace is limited to 50 people simultaneously, with reservations, that access to the bookstore is limited to 30 people with direction of travel and that access to the elevator is restricted to two people.
