The Atelier des Lumières pays tribute to architecture genius Gaudí, whose works of art have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage. From its reopening and to January 2, 2022, come and enjoy the “Gaudí, the Architect of the Imaginary” exhibition.

Antonio Gaudí is given pride of place in an exhibition curated by the Atelier des Lumières: Gaudí, the Architect of the Imaginary. An exclusive exhibition paying tribute to the Spanish artist and his whimsical and provocative artworks. Come and enjoy the Spanish artist from the moment the museum reopens and to January 2, 2022.

The Atelier has opened the ticketing service along with a message: “If conditions permit, we will reopen on 3 April 2021 and will welcome reservations from that date forward. Given the current context our plans continue to evolve, but please know that we will make every effort to share with you any updates as soon as it is possible”.

After a successful display in 2020 in Baux-de-Provence, the “Gaudí, the Architect of the Imaginary” exhibition comes to Paris. You will discover an artist ahead of his time whose work were an immeasurable source of inspiration for Dalí – also given pride of place in the exhibition prior to the Gaudí display.

First seen as whimsical and provocative, Gaudí’s works then managed to find their own public and until the artist met global recognition: his buildings are now listed on UNESCO World Heritage. Ranging from the Parc Güell to the Casa Batlló, without forgetting the Casa Milà, and the Sagrada Família, discover the Catalan architect’s incredible world and masterpieces as he built a dreamlike and unparalleled colorful universe.

The vaults, the statues, the original volumes of the artist’s constructions come to life on the walls and reliefs of the Atelier des Lumières. Between spirals, bright colors, huge and vertiginous structures, this exhibition shines a light on the Spanish architect’s daring and limitless creation.
