On the menu, pieces by 33 French and foreign artists, selected over the past 10 years by the Prix Jean-François Prat. The exhibition’s staging was designed by the exhibition curator Christiano Raimondi who wanted to immerse himself in the space and venue to create a dialog between works of art and the iconic setting of Paris School of Fine Arts’ central glazed courtyard.
The We Paint! exhibition aims at making the different experiences and practices of art coexist. New art movements, new materials, and new technologies of course with digital, contemporary art is always buzzing. So, shall we enjoy a contemporary exhibition in Paris and in a historic venue? Note that at the same time, two more exhibitions can be seen on the other side of the school, within the Galerie d'exposition: “Le partage d’une passion pour le dessin” and “Théâtre des expositions saison 4, acte 4” showing on one hand the magnificent collection of 90 drawings of the school through the centuries, and on the other hand, the work of 15 students and emerging artists in partnership with 6 curators. Let us kill three birds with one stone, then, shall we?
