This Saturday May 18, 2019, the Arab World Institute takes part in Museums Night by exceptionally opening late at night. We can discover the museum for free and its temporary exhibitions devoted to soccer.
Museums Night is the occasion to discover many museums across Europe. The Arab World Institute or Institut du Monde Arabe, is no different and invites us to discover its collections for free this Saturday May 18, 2019 from 7 p.m. to midnight!
Inside the museum, we can roam around the permanent collections, to know more about Arab countries history; in less than 30 years, this museum – opened in 1987 – has become an irresistible place to understand Arab language and culture thanks to informative and topical exhibitions.

- A la plume, au pinceau, au crayon at the Arab World Institute
A la plume, au pinceau, au crayon is the Arab World Institute devoted to drawing in the Arab world from the 11th century to nowadays. Running from March 26 to September 15, 2019 this exhibition brings together 100 drawings on many supports for a wonderful demonstration of how drawing is used in the Arab World.
- Football et monde arabe at the Arab World Institute
Football et monde arabe is the wonderful exhibition to visit at the Arab World Institute from April 10 to July 21, 2019. Interviews, documentaires, archive pictures, let's experience the enthusiasm soccer triggers in the Arab world!
- FFF turns 100 at the Arab World Institute
The Fédération Française de Football celebrates its 100 years of passion, 100 years of innovations at the Arab World Institute with a wonderful exhibition running from April 10 to May 25, 2019. Discover many documents and historical objects - some uncommon - coming from the FFF archives for a wonderful presentation of the story of the round ball.
- Soccer game from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A 12 x 21m city stadium is set in front of the IMA. This city stadium is open to the public by booking. The occasion to enjoy a nice, friendly and sport moment with friends and family and who about celebrating an event such as a birthday!
The Arab World Institute is very coveted; last year over 2,800 people made the best of Museums Night to discover it.
