This year’s White Night, called “la Nuit blanche,” will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2017. For the 16th Nuit Blanche, the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, entrusted the night-time arts festival to art historian Charlotte Laubard who is willing to make it work thanks to a collective creation!
As it happens every year, Parisians and tourists are all invited to take over public space on the first Saturday of October.
The 2017 Nuit Blanche is planned for October 7, 2017. As the sun goes down Parisians and tourists have an encounter with art! For this new edition, 3 unparalleled tours have been thought up and they all are related to the capital’s emblematic sights so you can see works and attend performances by artists from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Everything has been organized to make it easier to get around on White Night. In addition to night transports to come home safely, the STIF – the transport organization authority controlling the Paris public transport – provides transports free of charge throughout the whole night and several restaurants will remain open all night long.
