White Night 2020 will happen in Paris. Paris deputy mayor for Culture Christophe Girard has said he was working on a new shape for this free event in order to keep the necessary social distancing because of coronavirus. Here are the latest news.

Get ready for a totally different White Night 2020. No more crazy crowd in the streest and by the Seine; thi year's White night will be "chiselled and delicate" to enjoy "in groups of ten maximum".

This is what Paris deputy mayor for Culture Christophe Girard says about the organization of this major and free cultural event in Paris. This is also him who created the event back in 2002 with Bertrand Delanoë. After 18 editions that have been welcoming more and more people thanks to free shows, this is a new White Night that awaits in Paris.

Christophe Girard says to Télérama: "We will have another way of living and enjoying art. The wild quest for records of visits in main exhibitions in Paris these past few years will be shaken up".

To do so, he is working with four museum curators: Amélie Simier, running the Musée Bourdelle, Jeanne Brun (Musée Zadkine), Christophe Leribault (Petit Palais) and Fabrice Hergott (museum of modern art).

We cant' wait to discover what the White Night will look like. In the meantime, here's what the White Night 2019 was like:
