How about discovering Pays de France museum of archeology, Archea? For Museums Night, Louvres Musée d'Archéolovgie in Val d'Oise offers us to dance and celebrate the dead on Saturday May 18, 2019.
On Saturday May 18, 2019, for Museums Night 2019, Archéa, the museum of archeology in Pays de France welcomes families and archeology enthusiasts. All night long, we will discover the history of Pays de France from the prehistory to the 19th century thanks to the results of the digs lead during Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport’s construction.
On the menu:
- Join the party
Villier-le-Bel dance company, DK-BEL, presents its In Peace performance especially adapted for the occasion in the areas of the museum, with the participation of young people from Louvres and Villiers-le-Bel.
- A colorful day of the dead
Mask and makeup workshops are provided all night long to everyone. Don't hesitate to come dressed up to the museum.
- La Classe, l'Oeuvre
Students from Lycée Charles Baudelaire de Fosses have worked all year on science and archeology. For the night, they'll present short movies they made with videomaker Jérémy Brondoni and will conduct experiments live.
