This Saturday October 6, 2018, the Grand Palais is free of charge from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., a wonderful occasion to discover the Miró and Dazzling Venice exhibitions! As well as a crazy installation by Emmanuel Lagarrigue offering to experience a light ball.

On October 6, 2018, for the White Night, the Grand Palais remains open late in the night. For this occasion, the wonderful Miró and Dazzling Venice exhibitions are free of charge starting from 8 p.m. Come early, every year, thousands of Parisians and tourists come there to enjoy a good deal!

Please note that on Saturday October 6, 2018, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., the Grand Palais welcomes artist Emmanuel Lagarrigue for a quirky installation that you can see on this special day. Think: thousands of theater spotlights in a light ball set in the Salon d’Honneur.

Thanks to a technical system, Emmanuel Lagarrigue irradiates the room with a Braille text and not any kind of text. Abstracts from theorist Henri Lefebvre’s thesis from The Production of Space, written with the light… We roam around, hiding some of the lights and playing with the shadows, ignoring the hidden messages of this ball, seeing the funny side of this production all together.
