Exhibitions and museums open on December 25, 2017:
- César, the retrospective at Paris Centre Pompidou: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Major sculptor of the Nouveau Réalisme, César’s work is to be rediscovered from December 13, 2017 to March 23, 2018 at Paris Centre Pompidou. 20 years after his death, the artist from Marseilles is still in the news with its sculptures criticizing the society and our overconsumption. We love it!
- The Ordrupgaard Collection at the Musée Jacquemart-Andrée: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
From September 15, 2017 to January 22, 2018, the Musée Jacquemart-André offers visitors to know more about the Ordrupgaard Collection featuring Danish Wilhelm and Henry Hansen. Never seen before in Europe, this collection brings together impressionist and post-impressionist paintings gathered in the early 20th century by the businessman and his wife.
- Icons that Matter: 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The Musée Maillol welcomes a beautiful exhibition focused on Pop Art collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. For the very first time in France, works by Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and many others are exhibited following the story of post-war American art.
- Christmas 2017 at Château de Breteuil: 11:30 a.m. – 6 :30 p.m.
Château de Breteuil opens to families this Holiday season. From December 2, 2017 to January 7, 2018, Christmas decorations and lights give a magical aspect to the Château where many animations expect children and adults to experience an exceptional moment.
- Grévin Museum: 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.
What if we meet our favorite stars without breaking the bank? Instead of hunting celebrities like a paparazzi, we decided to have a look at Grévin on the Grands Boulevards; it’s quite handy, a few minutes in the tube and you can have your picture taken with celebrities and your children will be over the moon.
