Paris highest ice skating rink is back on the famous Montparnasse Tower. Indeed, its temporary and man-made ice skating rink is back on the famous panoramic deck featuring a 360° view. Like the ice skating rink at La Défense, you can skate with an unobstructed view over Paris.
From Valentine’s Day and during February school break, let’s go enjoying this ice skating rink on the 59th floor of the Tower. A good idea for a nice and original outing, all the more since the ice skating rink is said to be bigger this year and go from 210 sqm to 270 sqm, meaning 60 sqm more to spin and delight kids and adults.
Please note than you only have to pay to climb to the roof, the access to the rink remains free of charge for visitors. It means you don’t need to pay any extra charge, you only have to pay €17 to access the panoramic terrace. But, that’s not all, since a curling track is said to be set up for everyone who doesn’t like skating (and the others too).
With this temporary ice skating rink, the Montparnasse tower Panoramic Observation Deck manages to take up a singular challenge combining uniqueness and… eco-friendliness! As a matter of fact, the rink is made of polyethylene slabs of high density, assembled like a puzzle. This process, made of a material entirely recyclable remarkably saves water and power… Having fun while helping the environment!
In short, if you’re looking for an unparalleled outing for Valentine’s Day or the break, here’s a concept likely to delight you.
