Paris highest ice skating rink is back on the famous Montparnasse Tower. Indeed, its temporary and man-made ice skating rink is back on the famous panoramic deck featuring a 360° view. Like the ice skating rink at La Défense, you can skate with an unobstructed view over Paris.
A bit after Valentine’s Day and during February school break, let’s go enjoying this ice skating rink on the 59th floor of the Tower. A good idea for a nice and original outing, and a rink covering 210 sqm to spin and delight kids and adults. By the way, children from 2 years old are allowed on the ice. Chair-sleighs and double-bladed skates allow them to skate while being all safe.
And since winter definitely is here, you can also enjoy a delicious gourmet break with a large supply of hot cocoa and mulled wine. If you are a partygoer, you can also enjoy the champagne bar and when the night is coming, you can party on the ice with a wild playlist and a light set to make sure the vibe is good!
Please note than you only have to pay to climb to the roof, the access to the rink remains free of charge for visitors, excluding skate renting (€2). Yet, don't forget your gloves, they're mandatory! If you're not into skating (and other people too) you will have everything to get occupied or some fun since a curling track is also expected, to enjoy the ice in another way, even if it is man-made.
With this temporary ice skating rink, the Montparnasse tower Panoramic Observation Deck manages to take up a singular challenge combining uniqueness and… eco-friendliness! As a matter of fact, the rink is made of polyethylene slabs of high density, assembled like a puzzle. This process, made of a material entirely recyclable remarkably saves water and power… Having fun while helping the environment!
In short, if you’re looking for an unparalleled outing for the Winter break, here’s a concept likely to delight you.
