Paris highest skating rink is back on the famous Montparnasse Tower. Indeed, its temporary and man-made skating rink is back on the famous panoramic deck featuring a 360° view. This winter, from February 5 to March 6, 2022, you can once again skate and practice your loops with unobstructed views over Paris.
A bit before Valentine’s Day and during February school break, let us enjoy this skating rink on the 59th floor of the Tower. A good idea for a nice and original outing, and a rink covering 230 sqm to spin and delight kids and adults. By the way, children from 2 years old are allowed on the ice. Chair-sleighs and double-bladed skates allow them to skate while being all safe.
And since winter definitely is here, you can also enjoy a delicious gourmet break at the altitude bar serving hot cocoas, mulled wine, without forgetting sweet waffles.
The little extra thing: go by the end of the afternoon / early evening, after a sunny day to enjoy a magnificent sunset.
With this temporary ice skating rink, the Montparnasse Tower Panoramic Observation Deck manages to take up a singular challenge combining uniqueness and… eco-friendliness! As a matter of fact, the rink is made of polyethylene slabs of high density, assembled like a puzzle. This process, made of a material entirely recyclable remarkably saves water and power… Having fun while helping the environment!
In short, if you are looking for an unparalleled outing for the Winter break, here is a concept likely to delight you.
