Jardins Ouverts en Île-de-France is back for its seventh edition, this summer 2023. From July 1 to August 27, the people of Ile-de-France can enjoy two months of cultural activities and original outings in the parks and gardens of their city.

Discover the Open Gardens in Île-de-France: an event to be experienced from July 1 to August 27, 2023, in the region's parks and gardens! Two exceptional months to spend with family and friends, among trees and flowers, as part of the "My summer, my region" operation. For this seventh edition, more than 200 green spaces in the Ile-de-France region are hosting an original program, which allows visitors to enjoy many artistic and educational activities .

Heritage gardens, shared, family, collective or working gardens, but also educational gardens, rooftop gardens, private gardens and urban farms are thus honored. For the launch weekend of Jardins Ouverts 2023, on July 1st and 2nd, big events are planned to launch this summer season with a bang.

During these two months, you will find many activities: theatrical walks, concerts, plastic arts, poetic naps, tastings of local products, guided tours, dance, conferences and educational workshops ... A program rich in discoveries!

During this new edition, we (re)discover with pleasure some of the most important places of Ile-de-France, such as the gardens of the Albert Kahn museum, the Bernardin de Saint-Pierre house, the Jean Cocteau house or the Monte-Cristo castle. We also take advantage of the participation of several sites labeled " Heritage of Regional Interest ": the Moulin Jaune or the Axe Majeur. Remarkable gardens also await us, including the Potager du Roi and the Domaine de Méréville.

We note the arrival of new participants in this cultural event: go and visit the Campus of the transition in Forges, or the park of the castle of Rambouillet, which offers a botanical walk, from the Bergerie to the Dairy of Marie-Antoinette.

This year again, you can participate in the photo contest organized in partnership with the platform Wipplay. From June 1 to July 12, wander freely through the green spaces of Île-de-France, admire the composition, the plants, the works that populate these gardens, and capture images that reveal all their beauty. This year's theme: water! The best pictures will be exhibited during the closing weekend of Jardins ouverts, at the Zone Sensible - Ferme urbaine de Saint-Denis !

But before taking advantage of this event, we go and discover the Rendez-vous aux jardins, an event that also highlights the most beautiful green spaces of the region. Beautiful moments in the nature in perspective!
