Have you heard of Zoo de Thoiry? Located 45 minutes from Paris by car or shuttle, Zoo de Thoiry is a zoo you can visit while remaining in your own car and by foot as well. It features new very pleasant activities that will delight thrills lovers.

Among these activities: a 90-minute-long visit taking you behind the scenes aboard a safari shuttle and as close as possible to lions, bears and antelopes, a maze where you’ll lose all sense of time, DinoZoore and a flying session above lions thanks to a zip-lining never seen before in France. A minute in the air with your life connected to a zip-lining. We can fly at the same time as someone else which is perfect for couples or families and we enjoy a 500-m long zip-lining at 20-m high.

Zoo de Thoiry promised us a surprise: the zip-lining is 500-m long and is divided into two parts. Warning, the zip-lining is rather hard and thrills are unique. For the first part, we jump from 20 meters (easily accessible thanks to a gentle climbing pathway) and we fly above 3 lions! Crazy!

After zip-lining 250 meters, we stop on a big platform and a member of the staff secures us for the second part above an artificial lake… We loved the experience that you can watch below.

Caution: even though we could film lions, using your mobile phone is forbidden for safety reasons (go get your phones in the lion pit, you smarty-pants!). Open to all from 8 years old, this experience is absolutely incredible, we advise you to try it!
