White Night – Nuit Blanche 2017 in Paris at the Observatory of the Montparnasse Tower

As part of the White Night 2017, the Montparnasse tower observatory invites you to observe Paris at 210-m high and admire the galactic installation created for the event. Furthermore, the access is free from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.!

A night close to the stars! This is what the Montparnasse Tower observatory offers for this October 7, 2017 to celebrate the 16th edition of the White Night. Climb up to the 59th floor of this Parisian glass building to observe the city from above and discover the new artistic creation especially created for the occasion.

This year, the Montparnasse Tower Observatory asks the AV Exciters agency – offering nonstandard architectures mixing real and virtual – to create this time-limited artistic installation. On the occasion, this agency came up with a work made of three spheres and 2.50-m wide and aligned like stars on the terrace of the observatory, the metal structure reflecting light. “An origami constellation will surround these luminous stars and guide the public throughout the discovery of the work” the creators of the installation say.

A trip to another galaxy!
