After Frozen, Star Wars and the Season of the Force, Disneyland Paris is about to give Marvel super heroes pride of place. This spring 2020, the Parisian theme park was expected to be welcoming Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange and even Star-Lord again for the greatest happiness of little and big fans to celebrate the event “Marvel summer of super heroes” from March 28 to June 7, 2020, but the event has been cancelled. Super heories will not settle at the Walt Disney Studios park this year.
For those who still would like to dream a bit and imagine themselves by their favorite heroes, here's the program that was scheduled:
You would have met at the Studio Theater in the heart of the Walt Disney Studio park to discover a unique and live-action show bringing together Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Nebula, Black Widow and many more. A show where special effects are king at the cutting edge of technology and enabling Hulk and Thanos to make a striking entrance. Honorable mention to Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange for the special effects. A 20-minute show performed several times a day where Thanos “found a way to manipulate the Avengers and their associates to destroy them”. Will our heroes make it? Find the answer out at the Studio Theater…
Star-Lord and Gamora would have put on a show several times a day at Production Courtyard, facing the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and offer visitors to dance to save the world. An original and completely off-the-wall way to avoid the catastrophe fully involving small and big fans of this show with music so dear to the Guardians of the Galaxy and Peter Quill who literally has music in his soul. We particularly appreciate the humor of this show and the interaction with the audience.
Tony Stark would have expected you at Courtyard Production, at the food of the Hollywood Tower Hotel to present you “the latest version of his groundbreaking invention, an ‘Arc Reactor’ that creates green energy”. A one-of-a-kind technological and ecofriendly breakthrough that could highly interest Thor’s brother, Loki, who would undoubtedly have wanted to interrupt this show. But it’s without counting on Black Widow, Thor and even Spider-Man to help Iron-Man if they were around… Unless Captain Marvel would have made a dramatic entrance to help the superheroes!
Steve Rogers would have expected you at Park Walt Disney Studio to “share an epic moment to immortalize with a picture”. A handshake with the very first Avengers is a must to spend a heroic day.
Regarding Resort, Disney’s New-York hotel is shedding its skin with a complete reinvention of the place by creation a whole universe focused on Tony Stark and his armors. Renovations started in 2018 and are due to end in 2020, opening in the summer. Note that Walt Disney Studios is currently undergoing construction works to welcome the Marvel superheroes in a brand-new and immersive area, Avengers Campus, including a rehabilitation of the Rock'n'Roller Coaster but Iron Man version, as well as a new attraction in lieu of Armaggedon, Spider-Man: Slingshot. Planned opening: 2021. Let's save the world, friends, shall we?
