The Tuileries Garden is a must-see place in Paris! This garden goes along rue de Rivoli, linking two very famous places in Paris, the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde. And when we visit it, we quickly understand why the Tuileries Garden is a listed monument since 1991. We find manies statues along with works of art. Discover it from Sunday May 31, 2020.

When we are in Paris, we hardly resist the desire to walk in the Tuileries Garden. And for good reason, it connects two other jewels of the French capital, the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde. On one hand, the Seine follows the stream of its riverbed, while, on the other hand, the rue de Rivoli delights passersby with its beautiful façade and superb addresses. In the middle of all these splendors, the Tuileries Garden is viewed as the core of the Paris of your dreams!

Closed over the coronavirus induced lockdown, the Tuileries garden can reopen this Sunday May 31, 2020.

In a press release, the Louvre - owning the garden - says that "To guarantee everyone's safety, all measures including social distancing, collective games banned and gatherings over 10 people are still implemented in the parks and gardens".

And for good reason, it’s the oldest formal French garden in Paris. So, when we hang there, it’s a true step back in time. In the early days, we found the Palais des Tuileries, demolished in 1883. From now on, it’s a lively place that is the scene of many Parisian events such as the FIAC outside the walls, the Tuileries funfair, as well as Jardins, Jardin.

The Tuileries Garden is filled with beautiful statues and several ponds filled with ducks and fishes on which you can sail wooden sailboats. Many chairs are also available to soak sunbeams in or take a bucolic nap! It also houses two cultural venues, the Jeu de Paume as well as the Musée de l’Orangerie, set near the Place de la Concorde.
