Opening of the new Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris

From this June 1, 2018, the Jardin d’Acclimatation returns. For the record, the park underwent big works since this past September 4, closing the biggest part of its estate.

But for good reason since it has enjoyed the biggest renovation and modernization program since its creation in 1860. Not less than €60 million have been put by LVMH Group and Compagnie des Alpes to give a new breath of life and a new face to the park.

To do so, the group has been given a new plot for 25 years from the Paris authorities. These titanic works required over a hundred French and European SMB and about 500 workers, working unceasingly despite the particularly harsh climatic conditions.

In the end, all these efforts enable to replace more than half the rides, modernize others and increase the free playground areas, and find again the landscapes designed by Napoleon III’s gardener and landscape designer Jean-Pierre Barillet-Deschamps, renovate a large part of the historical heritage of the place and offer us brand-new services that are the same and some are even better that the main rivals.

With its new theme park in the heart of Paris and set in a beautiful redrawn landscape, the Jardin d’Acclimatation is likely to be one of the hottest spots in the French capital.

Less mineral, more attractive with more pitches and less constructions, activities better scattered and more diverse, a modern ticketing service, a digital environment, a rethought-up catering area, the brand-new Jardin d’Acclimatation has all the arguments to seduce every generation.

A limited area is currently open for free, the Jardin will welcome children from day care centers all May long. It will completely close on Saturday May 26 and May 27 to adjust and perfect the last details.

In short, just a few days more to check what has been announced: “We keep everything you love, we invent everything you will love”. Roll on June 1!
