From June 28 to July 29, 2018, Montmartre welcomes a brand-new living place: La Villa Extraordinaire, thought up by Leboncoin. A contemporary, playful and art area with a garden nestled in the heart of the Butte Montmartre (within the Cité Internationale des Arts) that will delight adults and children who are, and we know it, real knowledge sponges. Then, don’t think twice and make them discover La Villa Extraordinaire’s immersive and experiential exhibition.
On the menu of the exhibition: daily objects given a second life under several deft artists’ hands. An exhibition that is deeply contemporary advocating objects salvage, their diversion and their transformation instead oh throwing them away. We must approve of this initiative.
All in all, ten rooms create this interactive visit mixing plastic arts and music. Parisian duo Polo & Pan offers an interactive immersion in their “canopy”, artist and musician Eric Michel will take you to a room where you see everything in pink, while Agar Agar invites you to play in their room entirely made of instruments joined together.
Also, on the menu: a standing-trip in a hot air balloon, a jump in a pool filled with objects and mini indoor soccer “party”. Does it sound intriguing? Well then, meet on June 28 to discover all these mysteries!
