AccroCamp Rueil, tree-climbing site in Rueil-Malmaison

AccroCamp is a tree-climbing site chain set at the gates of Paris, especially in Rueil-Malmaison. In a part of the forest, AccroCamp offers you to climb in trees, completing highly secured courses open to children from 3. Giant trampolines, fantastic ziplines, and 15-meter jump, here are challenged waiting for you and your kids. Reopening from February 12, 2022.

Set in a lovely tree-filled park, between Bougival and Rueil-Malmaison, AccroCamp Rueil, at the gates of Paris, is accessible via bus from La Défense. If you want to go to the countryside and enjoy picnic and outdoor fun, this tree-climbing site has it all.

Let us start with crossing the park, to enter a lovely green place. This is in a former military camp that the adventure course has been set. Do not panic, there is definitely no army-like vibe, we are here for the fun and adrenalin.

Arriving by the terrace-bar and reception desk, we can see many picnic tables and a huge giant trampoline divided into several parts, set on a former swimming pool. These trampolines are for children (yes, excluding for Team Building), they are perfect to warm up or keep children busy while having lunch or an afternoon snack.

Then, let us move to the reception desk and choose the right course fitting everyone’s size. “Bambin” course from 3, “enfant”, “junior”, “grand” or “total access”, it is up to you.

Put on your harness and watch the video carefully to know more about safety guidelines. Then, you will have to complete the “initiation” course to make sure you understood everything right. The advantage of these courses is the hanging system involves a continuous pulley. An ingenious system mixing the advantage of a continuous lifeline and the sliding of pulleys. Then, you do not have to change system when jumping off the zipline, and courses can be completed in a smooth and flawless fashion.

You can access courses via stairs, do not panic if you are not familiar with climbing. This system makes tree-climbing really easy and accessible to all, perfect for those just starting. But if you are skilled, you will also be entertained.

In all, 7 courses in the trees and 80 workshops. These courses are set between 1 and 15 meters in the air, depending on levels. In addition to the huge ziplines crossing the forest, some of them make you fly above the trampolines in the sun, perfect to immortalize majestic landings (or not).

For the bravest of you, some workshops are the Tarzan jump, that will make you jump from a rope to reach a net, like a spider, or even the Quick Jump that simply consists in jumping from a platform set 15 meters above the ground (not even scared? Let us talk about it once on the platform).

Over the course of the paths, levels rise. So, you start with the simplest one, the course 1 to bravely finish with the longest one, the 7. Finish by jumping into the void for the great final. But you can do it completely in the order or not.
