When Paris charm goes to Germany… A journey to the heart of Paris offered by Europa Park through the reworking of its French area but most of all through a brand-new attraction, Eurosat – CanCan Coaster, now open to the public. A roller coaster thought up and designed in partnership with Moulin Rouge Paris, making us travel to the Paris of the roaring 20s in the heart of its cabaret set in Pigalle.
Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, French Cancan… we discover a dreamt Paris and being an entire part of the collective imagination. In the queue, we go to Moulin Rouge Paris, we enter through the artists’ enrance. A queue also offering thrill lovers to discover cabaret dancers’ outfits and other documents showing Paris and the venue in all its glory.
A roller coaster the board has been invited to try… Our verdict is final: we loved it! Moulin Rouge universe in the queue is striking and wonderfully transcribes this French atmosphere tourists love so much. In terms of roller coaster, the tour that goes entirely indoor and in the dark is completed with a very Parisian décor representing Paris major monuments, as well as the famous dancers. An intense and family roller coaster launching us in the Parisian nights of Pigalle, the whole at the pace of the famous tune by Offenbach that made French Cancan become part of the legend.
And for VR enthusiasts, the park – elected for the fifth time in a row the best theme park in the world – offers another novelty, Eurosat Costiality inviting visitors to go behind the entrance of CanCan Coaster and discover this roller coaster in a new light (the ride shares the same trail), this time you are in the Valerian and the City of Thousand Planets movie by Luc Besson. Two rides in one… And besides, other reasons to come back: a reworking of Madame Freundenrich Curiosités ride and a floating bistro-boat, the Liberté. Shall we go there, friends?
