For this seconc edition, a new tour and a new theme are on the menu: the great odyssey of the evolution. Let's discover never seen and even made before lanterns. Thoiry Lumières Sauvages 2019 : la grande odyssée de l'évolution en lanternes

Entirely made by hand and covered in fabric, these unique works - specially created and designed for the zoo - will lit up at nightfall to offer a magical and enchanting tour.

To start this festival, we'll be immersed in an impressive and magical forest. Covering about 3 hectares, relive the evolution of life, from undersea worlds to the dinosaurs, birds, monkeys and last but not least, in the castle gardens, you'll end  in the middle of a great Renaissance scene with Henri IV.

Indeed, no more Chinese atmosphere this year, but Henri IV and his entire procession is given pride of place in front of the castle. A beautiful way to start the tour in the heart of the gardens. It's a scene that has never been seen before.

Characters have been made from scratch based on models from the paintings from the 16th century. Costumes with flamboyant colors are inspired by the Renaissance paintings. Picture it: a decor including musicians, carriages, horses, ladies and knights coming to life at the Château de Thoiry, this castle from the 16th century that had the honor to accomodate famous king Henri IV.

The first edition attracted about 150,000 visitors, let's bet this new edition will meet an even greater success.

In other words, a fantastic discovery to experience with your family, your better half or your friends for a unique and spectacular show.
