Attention Snow Queen fans! Families will soon be able to discover the world of Arendelle at Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios, with a new themed zone revolving around the adventures of Elsa and Anna. The new land is currently under construction, and on September 9, 2023, a new video gave a sneak preview of the work in progress. Attraction, restaurant and other stores, opening date... We tell you all about it!

Visit Arendelle and experience new adventures alongside Elsa and Anna... That's what Disneyland Paris has in store for you with its brand-new Snow Queen themed zone, currently under construction at Walt Disney Studios. A new zone that will plunge you into a unique universe, for the ultimate in immersion.

Presentation of the construction site for the Lake and Snow Queen zones:

A new zone that has been showing up episodically since Bob Iger announced the expansion in 2018. We had to wait until September 9, 2023, on the occasion of Destination D23, to get another glimpse of the construction site, showing the progress of work on this new zone. A zone that had already been revealed through construction plans, made available to the public in February 2020 and shared by our OutsidEars colleagues on Twitter. These plans already gave us a glimpse of the area and the location of the various spaces.

What does this new Snow Queen zone have in store for us?

So, as announced, we find a restaurant, an attraction, two boutiques and a "Meet & Greet" (a place where it's possible to meet various Disney characters) where children and their parents will be able to cross paths with their favorite princesses. And we now know a little more about these different areas: the restaurant will be a fast-food restaurant with a queue and seating for 250. As for the "Meet & Greet", our colleagues at This%20space%20for%20meeting%20will%20have%20a%20notably%20reduced%20waiting%20file,%20sans%20doute%20car%20la%20réservation%20se%20fera%20par%20le%20service%20Lineberty.%20Trois%20salles%20de%20rencontres%20seront%20aménagées.%20pic.twitter.com/RLMc0SO4cv

-%20OutsidEars%20(@OutsidEarsDLP)%20March%207,%202020%20" target="_blank">OutsidEars also gives us some information, namely that the queue will be reduced. And with good reason: you'll need to make a reservation to meet the princesses, via the Lineberty service.

As for the boutique, according to a December 2019 issue of the " Recueil des actes administratifs", this first boutique could logically be 173m2 in size, and would be accompanied by a 62m2 kiosk. As for the attraction, there's no official information from Disneyland Paris, but our colleagues atOutsidEars, like those at Walt Disney World News Today, seem to confirm the rumours that are circulating, namely a boat ride, an improved version of an attraction already existing at EPCOT, in the Norwegian pavilion: Frozen Ever After. Visitors are invited to embark on a boat and relive the adventures of Elsa and Anna in 10 iconic scenes (12 including the embarkation and disembarkation), all with a waterfall (or more), just like in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

Note that this attraction is also under construction at Hong Kong Disneyland, in a similar version to the Parisian Snow Queen zone. All that remains is to wait for confirmation from the house with the big ears. And while we're waiting for the arrival of this new land, we can enjoy the brand-new Snow Queen season, currently underway at Disneyland Paris. As for an opening date, we'll have to wait a little longer, as work has been delayed by the Covid crisis, among other things. But we can't wait!
