Visiting Arendelle and experiencing new adventures alongside Elsa and Anna… This is what Disneyland Paris offers with its brand-new zone inspired by Frozen, soon to be built within Walt Disney Studios. A new area that will take us to its one-of-its-kind universe for a complete immersion. Said to open in 2023.
Since Bob Iger announced an expansion in 2018, we haven’t got much news about this new land. But the wait is coming to an end… And for good reason: blueprints have just been released and are now accessible to all; our peers, Outsidears, already shared them on Twitter. Plans that give a foretaste about the land and the location of the different areas.

So, we have – as announced – a restaurant, a ride, two stores and a “Meet and Greet” area (where you can meet different Disney characters) where little girls can meet their favorite princesses. And we now know more about the different spaces. For the restaurant, it will be a fast food including a queue and 250 seats. As for the Meet & Greet, our peears at Outsidears also share more details such as reduced waiting time. And for good reason: you'll have to book to meet your princesses via the Lineberty service.
Moving on to the store and according to a book of administrative acts released in December 2019, it will cover 173sqm along with a 62sqm booth. As for the ride, no official details from Disneyland Paris have been communicated but our peers at Outsidears, as well as those from Walt Disney World News Today, seem to confirm the current rumors naming a boat ride – an upgraded version of the ride already existing at EPCOT, at the Norwegian pavilion: Frozen Ever After. Guests are also invited to board a boat and relive Elsa and Anna’s adventures, the whole with several scenes from the movies and a fall (or more) like for the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

Currently known as “Frozen Land”, this new land will include a water ride, sister of the one currently built at Hong Kong Disneyland, two stores as well as a restaurant and a place to meet the two queens of Arendelle. #Insidears
Note that this ride is also being built at Hong Kong Disneyland, in a land similar to the Parisian Frozen land. And now, let’s just wait for the big-eared house to confirm it. And while waiting for the new land, let’s enjoy the brand-new Frozen season currently running at Disneyland Paris. Let’s go, friends, shall we?
