After closing for over three months over the coronavirus crisis, Disneyland Paris has announced to reopen from July 15, 2002. A reopening that depends on several conditions... How can you book? How can you get your stay already booked repaid? Here are answers.

Good news for Mickey MouseMarvelStar Wars, and other franchises owned by the big-eared company! Disney has announced it will reopen from July 15, 2020 after shutting for over three months because of the coronavirus pandemic. A reopening highly expected by many families hoping soon to go to the park despite the strict health requirements set up by the resort.

And to go to Disneyland Paris, you will of course have to book your ticket early since no ticket office will open on site. But bookings are a bit different than usual... So, for annual pass holders or non-timed ticket holders, you are invited to create an annount on Disney website (or log in if you have one alread), and to pair your tickets or pass to your account and pick a visit date. You will then received a confirmation email you will have to show on D-Day along with your tickets. Two pre-opening days are also scheduld for annual pass holders on July 13 and 14, 2020, still by booking.

As for privilege tickets for Annual Passes, they will be available from July 8, 2020 and you are encourage to send an inquiry at least 15 working days (or three weeks) prior to your visit by calling from France or going to the Conciergerie Infinity. Tickets will be mailed to you then. And as for purchasing tickets, click here. Basically, it changes nothing: you only have to choose the date, as long as stock lasts, and book. Tickets will be then emailed to you.

For the record, it is the third time in its history than the Parisian theme park had to close: after the 1999 storm and the 2015 terror attacks.

Repayment conditions for a stay at Disneyland Paris and for entry tickets

Please note the park has also shared on its website and social networks that if you've booked a stay in a Disney hotel for arrivals until June 1, 2020, you have until April 15, 2020 to postpone or cancel it for free. If you want to postpone your stay through October 15, 2020, the resort offers you the possibility to book it for the same price (excluding transportation).

As for dated tickets for the parks, Disneyland Paris set up a form to fill in. Whatever happens, tickets ending within the closing period and that have not been used will be automatically extended to any day until September 20th. If you hold a dated ticket for groups booked via a tour operator and for a visit during the closing period, your tickets will be cancelled and refunded or replaced by new tickets with a new visit date for the same price. Please contact your tour operator. For more details about repayment conditions, click here.

There you go, all nice and ready for your next visit. Make the best out of it to enjoy magic and relax after this long period on lockdown. Let us book tickets, friends, shall we?
