The Moulin Jaune and its remarkable gardens

Every year, clown Slava Polunin - the man behind Slava's Snowshow - opens the doors of his marvelous Moulin Jaune, a creative and living space for circus artists and performers of all kinds located in Crécy-la-Chapelle, near Marne-la-Vallée (77).

In a 4-hectare site classified asa "Remarkable Garden" by the French Ministry of Culture in 2014 and " Regional Heritage of Ile de France" in 2018, the clown has set the stage for his offbeat, marvelous and colorful universe: yellow chairs float above our heads, a pagoda awaits us, and a levitating black house allows us to enjoy unusual experiences. It's a breath of fresh air just a few kilometers from Paris.

Although the estate is privately owned, Slava the clown lets you discover it for a few weekends, giving you the chance to celebrate with many of his artist friends. A multitude of small shows are usually put on, and a big picnic brings families together for a feast for the eyes. And to make a visit to the Moulin Jaune a memorable experience, Slava asks his visitors to respect a dress code, whether simple or extravagant and dreamlike.
