When it comes to amaze Parisians and tourists, La Villette knows how to do so! After providing spectacular fire installations, the location causes a surprise again with an event expected for the Holidays. From December 2, 2021 to January 2, 2022, a light festival is up at the Parc de la Villette in Paris!
Simply called “Lumières!”, this event promises a magical outing free of charge and open to all! Light installations will take over the place, by the Prairie du Triangle,
on the trees,
and along the Canal de l’Ourcq.
At the helm of this fantastic festival, Groupe F, famous for their wonderful firework shows. On the occasion, they unveil a piece of work temporarily called “From the light Flow” described as a version of marvelous “connected to Scott Gibbons’ electronic and delicate landscapes”. An enigmatic description triggering one’s curiosity even more.
Known for their awe-inspiring art installations, 1024 architecture takes part in celebrations with a work of art, “Constellations”, taking us to starry skies. It expects us by the Canal de l’Ourcq that is then covered in stars and light beams. We are promised a play on lights screened on the park’s greenery and the ensemble is to look like a “major galactic ballet”.
