Disneyland Paris is full of novelties for its 30th anniversary

30 years is worth the party! To celebrate its 30th anniversary – debuting from March 6, 2022 in the parks – Disneyland Paris puts on a great spread and promises a program at the level of the event. Here is more ont he matter!

Disney fans, brace yourselves, this is an epic and never-before-seen birthday party you are to attend! Disneyland Paris is officially celebrating their 30^th anniversary from March 6, 2022 and promises a whole bunch of surprises for visitors staying in the resort or spending the day in both parks.

The park opened on April 12, 1992, after years of conception, and three decades later, it has become the first tourist destination in Europe. The resort is always evolving with many novelties in 30 years, such as the world’s unique version of Space Mountain in 1995, the creation of the Walt Disney Studios park in 2022 with the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in 2007, Toy Story Playland in 2010, a Ratatouille land in 2014, and the massive extension including the Avengers Campus in 2022, as well as a Frozen land and a Star Wars land in the coming years.

For their 30^th anniversary, Disneyland Paris intends to mark the occasion with many surprises giving pride of place to the “resort’s enchanting past and exciting future” while inviting guests to “enter a shining new era—one where they will dream bigger, laugh louder, and smile wider”.

On the menu then, new and custom-made experiences provided within Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios and the entire resort. Note the cast members will be given pride of place to celebrate this 30^th anniversary.

As for the detailed program of this special occasion, you will have to wait a bit. But, we can hope for the official opening of Avengers Campus for this anniversary, as the construction works have been delayed because of the health crisis. And depending on how it goes, the opening may take place in 2022. Are expected new iridescent costumes presented during a fashion show, as well as a new outfit for Minnie, a pant suit designed by stylist Stella McCartney.

As for shows, Disney Illuminations is back with new sequences and a first part show staging 200 drones: Disney D-light!

Note a new day-light show is also on the menu with Mickey and friends parading in brand-new outfits!

An anniversary celebrated with song, and a new electro-dance track likely to please parents and children.

And the highlight of the show, for the 30th anniversary, the Avengers Campus is to open this summer 2022.
