The Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle de Paris is back again this autumn, for a plant walk-exhibition that's just as magnificent, and 100% exotic.
From October 18 to November 27 2023, during the All Saints' vacation and the month of November, discover Tropical Autumn. Feuillages en Couleurs: a lively and fantastic plant exhibition. Art and plants mingle and complement each other, offering us a truer-to-nature immersion in the midst of botanical species of surprising aesthetic appeal.
After transporting us to French Guiana, this third edition of Automne Tropical aims to further surprise the senses by unveiling colorful plants, while explaining the characteristics of these astonishing species to create a botanical rainbow. Four botanical families are represented: Araceae, Marantaceae, Begonias and Bromeliads. Enthusiasts and amateurs alike are welcome to admire the beauty of nature, and discover its secrets and peculiarities.
The exhibition also continues in the desert gallery, featuring cactus species in shades of grey, pink and purple. If the experience makes you want to go green, there's also an ephemeral boutique where you can take a plant home as a souvenir of this enchanted stroll.
In the warmth of the Jardin des Plantes' Grandes Serres, in the midst of lush greenery, it's as if you've been transported to faraway, mysterious lands. You can almost hear jungle animals moving in the trees above you... A relaxing experience not to be missed this autumn!
