The Cité Fertile will close very soon. For 4 years, this one-hectare wilderness set in Pantin made many people very happy with a lively place revolving around a sustainable and ecofriendly lifestyle. This now iconic venue is to close their wonderful program beautifully! From December 4, 2021 to March 6, 2022, the Cité Fertile becomes the Cité des Mervilles and expects you for a winter funfair!
Christmas magic comes to this landmark in the Parisian suburb and plays it long until the early days of spring. On the menu, an 8,000sqm funfair themed on eco-friendliness expecting children and adults. Rides and merry-go-rounds for the entire family are up, while a food court with sweet and savory specialties attracts foodies. A comforting winter bar will warm your hands up with lots of hot chocolate and mulled wine, while beer lovers will be able to enjoy craft beers.
Every weekend, committed Christmas markets come to introduce you to different skills: on December 4 and 5, 2021, enjoy the Paris Night Market with independent and committed sellers in fashion, beauty, delicatessen, accessories, toys and decoration. Then, on December 11 and 12, 2021, Low Carbon and Les Canaux come over to unveil food alternatives in partnership with the Opaz studio designers’ Christmas market – set in Aubervilliers.
Between ceramist artists, designers, photographers, sculptors, painters and more, come along and discover artists and their works likely to be found underneath the Christmas tree! Last but not least, for bargain hunters, do not miss the big market on December 18 and 19 devoted to second-hand goods and vintage!
Well, the Cité Fertile ends with a big finale!
