Craving a breath of fresh air while staying in the Paris area? Here is a getaway idea likely to please wine fans and curious people willing to discover the wine industry. Head to Yvelines and especially the Domaine de la Bouche du Roi close to Versailles to dive into the vine-growing world.
Meet on February 12, March 12 and March 26, 2022 to enjoy a promising experience surrounded by vines in the Plaine de Versailles. On the menu, half a day in the skin of a wine-grower: first of all, you will be taught the gestures of the vine and enjoy an introduction to the main principles of organic vine-growing. Then, you will taste wine, with 3 different vintages by the estate. Last but not least, enjoy lunch with the team. The experience, limited to 14 guest per half-day costs €85 per person.
This is also the occasion to discover the story of this estate set in the former hunting terrain of the kings of France. It has been 4 years since Adrien Pélissié, Julien Bengué and Julien Brustis set a goal of bringing this Île-de-France area back to life, enabling them to create remarkable wine with eco-friendly practices and organic growing. Stay tuned, more experiences are likely to be available soon at the Domaine de la Bouche du Roi.
