April 22 is Earth Day! This day is the occasion to remind the importance of taking care of the Earth and its ecosystems. Although each and everyone can take part in it, especially thanks to complying with eco-friendly behavior on a daily basis, institutions take part in Earth Day, especially National Geographic in partnership with Disneyland Paris.
Several actions will be instated in Disneyland Paris, to raise awareness about protecting the environment. A few days ago, a new 15-minute immersive show was launched at the Walt Disney Studios: Symphony for Our World Special Edition, inspired by the “Symphony For Our World” documentary. Explore the music of oceans, coasts, mountains and skies, taking a step back on the beauty of our Earth. This show aims at being a hymn to landscapes and wild species. At the same time, the documentary it was inspired by will air on April 22, at 9:45 a.m. (Paris time) on National Geographic Wild channel.
At Disney Village, a photo exhibition, “The Greatest Landscapes”, will be accessible to all, from April 22, 2022, to late summer. Pictures displayed all around the lake celebrate the beauty of the planet through a selection of extraordinary landscapes across the world. During Earth Day, visitors can meet with three National Geographic explorers for a morning masterclass at Walt Disney Studios.
Without forgetting a show around the iconic Disneyland Paris castle, showing the colors of Earth Day. This exceptional cover called “Un Monde Merveilleux” [A Marvelous World] will shine a light on the wild world through pictures taken by National Geographic teams, to encourage protection.
