Do you fancy star-gazing on July 28, 29 and 30, 2017, for star-gazing nights? For 3 days, the most beautiful observatories in France invite you to gaze at the stars all together. Each year, over 100,000 curious star-gazers come to look at the sky, even in Paris!
Star-gazing Nights are coming very soon! For three days, you will look at the sky with a fresh eye thanks to the CNES (French National Center for Space Studies), the AFA (French Astronomy Association) and the French National Center for Scientific Research. Some of the observation points are located in Ile de France, so take your chance!
This year again, a festival of shooting stars awaits us and we can even see the wonderful Andromeda Galaxy. Many hosts will be here to answer your questions: what is the difference between a comet and a shooting star? Where does the universe end? Star-gazing nights are open to all: couples, families, enthusiasts. Come from 9 p.m. at sunset and keep your eyes wide open.

- Star-gazing Nights at the Montparnasse Tower:
Star-gazing night is back from July 28 to July 30, 2017. To be in the front row and enjoy the show without being disturbed by the city’s light pollution, head to the top of the Montparnasse tower and its observatory at a height of over 200 m.
- Star-gazing Nights at Paris Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie:
On Friday July 28, 2017, Paris Cité des Sciences invites you to attend the star-gazing night on the Prairie du Cercle, a few meters from the Géode. All night long, you can look through a telescope to observe the sky and the stars and attend shows at the Planetarium.

On Friday July 28 and Saturday July 29, 2017, from 9:30 p.m. in Trilport, URANIE club awaits you in rue des Vignes with telescopes. This year, they plan to make us observe the constellation Lyra, the constellation Cygnus, the constellation Aquila and the constellation Hercules!

Uranoscope de l’Ile de France awaits us Allée Camille Flammarion on Friday July 28 and Saturday July 29 from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. for a night with the head full of stars. On the menu: distribution of sky maps created by the AFA, observations and discoveries of the summer sky with the help of numerous tools without forgetting the sky tales and legends!

The Section astronomie d’Ecuelles awaits us on Saturday July 29, 2017 from 9 p.m. to observe the sky from Ecuelles airdrome. For amateurs, the members of the aforementioned club will provided you the tools they own and those of the club to allow you to be introduced to astronomical observation.

Club d’Astronomie du Val de Seine gathers on the field of the dog education club (located at chemin des Prés Neufs) from Friday July 28 to Sunday July 30. Attend conferences, sky observation, introduction to astronomy and presentations of tools.

From July 28 to July 30, 2017, Planète Sciences awaits you at Centre d’Astronomie Jean-Marc Salomon (rue des Roches) for two nights of observation, child and adult workshops, conferences and friendly meetings.

The Astro Bassée Montois association awaits you on Friday July 28 from 10 p.m. at the former oil platform (Vieille Route de Donnemarie) for an incredible night observing constellations thanks to telescopes.

For this 27th edition, Star-gazing Nights are highlighting a theme related to habitable planets. Thousands of volunteers, amateur astronomers throughout France, Belgium, Switzerland and Morocco organize events to make you discover the celestial dome.
