Good news for beautiful panoramic views! The Montparnasse Tower Top of the City has reopened on June 22, 2020 to visitors, after over two months of lockdown because of coronavirus. Set 200 meters above the ground, come and rediscover one of the highest terraces in Paris within a modern and warm setting.
And for a safe reopening, the Top of the City has set up health guidelines as given by the government. Then, a maximum number of visitors at the same time on site has been set to limit the number of people present. A limit that equals one person for 4sqm, controlled by an electronic counting system. On site, each visitor must follow a one-way direction of traffic, marked on the ground. Lifts are also limited to four people. One of the two staircases is reserved to go up, and down for the other.
Please also note that facemasks are mandatory and hand sanitizer is available at the entrance and at several places on the tower. The observation desk and sanitary facilities are cleaned up more often, door handles are treated with a bactericide coating.
Visitors can access the design and sheltered walk area giving exceptional views on Paris by day and by night. By night, the terrace shows off its nighttime colors. An atmosphere and original light staging for a nighttime show many people can enjoy from their balconies if they are still hesitating to go out again. It will make the terrace even more appealing.
And you do not want to forget your camera!
