What we love for Christmas is the Holidays magic taking over streets and festive places. We love the Christmas lights as well as all the entertainments making children and adults happy. This tradition adorning our streets to make us forget about the cold and warming our hearts can sometimes be slighlty obsolete. But not at Bercy Village! The shopping street set in Paris 12th arrondissement have been making people's eyes sparkle for years..
This year, lovers and families can dream under a sky of 1,200 hanging umbrellas, as created by the famous Patricia Cunha. This time, the artist comes back with a winter version of her famous installation inspired by Mary Poppins! A wonderful 200-m long and 6-m wide sky that required 50 hours to be set up.
And at the end of the street, a huge Christmas tree expects you with over 30 umbrellas for beautiful pictures.
We could almost wish for snow to fall to immortalize the moment.
