From December 26, 2017 to January 7, 2018, the Musée des Arts Forains invites us to discover the 8th edition of the Festival du Merveilleux. 13 days of animations and wonders expect (big) children in the temple of funfair so that you can make your Holidays even more enjoyable.
The Musée des Arts Forains in Bercy invites us in a world of dream. Here’s the occasion to discover the magic place staged by private collector Jean-Paul Favand who decided to share with us his fantastic universe, the one of merry-go-rounds and fairground arts. For the 8th edition dedicated to “Invisible Musicians”, you’re offered to discover the museum turned into an incredible 8000-sqm music box.
For the Holidays, come and have a free visit in this enchanting with its hidden street decorated and lightened up as it should be for this period. Discover then centenary merry-go-rounds, automaton shows and mechanical music.
This year, invisible musicians, ancient mechanical music instrument especially restored for the occasion, come to the museum and accompany many living artists and show companies to entertain us.
Take part in a waking dream between jugglers, acrobats, enchanting decors, story-tellers, cotton candy and other actors! You can even try one of the attractions open for the occasion (wooden horse merry-go-round, waiter race, Japanese billiards, velocipede merry-go-round, child merry-go-round, Unicorn astrological fame, gondolas merry-go-round…).
Impromptu shows await you throughout the day.
Here’s what to expect:
