The Taversée de Paris en Anciennes is one of the biggest events in Paris for old car amateurs. Twice a year, for a morning, Paris streets are enlivened with old cars, motorbikes, bicycles, tractors, buses, light goods vehicles for a crazy ride across Paris. The winter edition has been cancelled first by the prefecture over the health crisis, and has been cancelled again in March because of a pollution peak. It is eventually on Sunday April 17, 2022, the ride will take place and we hope it will!
A few pictures:
Whether you are a collector or not, this is the occasion to enjoy a travel back in time thanks to these cars that crossed the centuries. The Traversée de Paris is the occasion to shine a light on the rolling oh-so ecclectic and oh-so rich rolling heritage presented by vehicles from many countries and brands - some of them even disappeared.
What classic cars can you see this Sunday April 17, 2022 for the winter edition? This is a surprise, so is the route of this Traversée de Paris... Remember, last summer, several beautiful cars impressed passersby including a Ford 1 (1930), a Pontiac (1942), a Triumph TR3 (1953), a Traction 11 CV (1957), a Corvette (1966), a Mini Moke (1966), an Autobianchi Eden Rock (1969), the London Cab (1970), a Toyota Land Cruiser (1989), and two motorcycles: a BMW side-car (1963) and a Peugeot 350cc (1932) in original conditions.
Meet on the South parvis of the Château de Vincennes to attend the departure of this Traversée de Paris in old cars, winter edition. Here is a fun and family outing.
